A Texas native, Courtland had a vision of a laid-back, black-tie theme. What better venue than the William Aiken House, built in 1810 with lush gardens and a grand presence on Charleston’s signature boulevard, King Street. Even with such beautiful surroundings it was Courtland’s three-piece, long sleeve lace Monique Lhuillier gown that was the show stopper. Soft, romantic hair by Stuart Laurence Salon. Expert photography by Marni Pictures.
